Map
This transit-oriented, two-phase green housing development brings active retail, market-rate homes, and affordable accessible dwellings to a less-than-lively central Berkeley block. Slated for LEED Silver certification, Parker Place will create a sustainable new pedestrian-oriented plaza between the core of downtown and the Ashby BART station and feature neighborhood-friendly upgrades such as traffic-calming landscaping, a revamped bus stop, bicycle parking, and café-ready retail spaces. It includes the adaptive reuse of an existing 1923 structure presently functioning as a car dealership.
