Isle House

San Francisco CA | Completed

2024

This residential tower is the first high-rise on Treasure Island, located on one of the early active parcels in the island’s transformation into a new San Francisco neighborhood.

With a dramatic folded façade, the 22-story tower takes advantage of its island site to maximize views of the city’s iconic bridges and other bay landmarks at every turn. The new community features 250 highend homes—including nine two-level live-work units with private entries—served by active ground-floor uses, including a hotel-style entry lobby, a corner café space, a broad central courtyard, and a dynamic indoor-outdoor residential commons. Apartments range from studios through three-bedrooms, each focused on views and finished with natural tones, textures, and materials.

Isle House offers a range of elevated amenities to inspire and connect residents, including a hotel-style lobby lounge with varied seating zones and private co-working suites. Details include modern Shou Sugi Ban-style walls, a custom reception desk, live-edge elm bars by DBA_Workshop, and a sculptural ceramic installation handmade by architect David Baker. At the second level, a fitness studio and wellness lounge are oriented toward the city skyline, while a serene yoga studio opens onto the 5,000sf central courtyard.

An extensive community amenity suite tops the seventh-story podium. Shared spaces include a library, den, bar, and game area plus an expansive landscaped roof deck with outdoor amenities—a fireside area, grills, dining space, and seating—fully immersed in the spectacular Bay setting.

The 220-foot high-rise is bounded to the north by Garden Walk, a dynamic shared public way that emphasizes pedestrians and bicyclists over cars and extends through all sites in the first development phase. Just steps away from the Treasure Island Waterfront Plaza, upcoming Cityside Park, and new Ferry Terminal, Isle House is connected to downtown San Francisco via an eight-minute boat commute.

Isle House serves as an anchor for the 405-acre development, a new waterfront community that, when completed, will feature 8,000 new homes; 300 acres of new parks, trails, and open space; and a vibrant mix of commercial and cultural attractions set amidst stunning views of downtown San Francisco, Angel and Yerba Buena Islands, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, and the Marin Headlands.
