Abandoned cannery relics were repurposed throughout the project as industrial sculpture. These 10-foot-diameter steel wheels, displayed in the west entry gallery, were originally part of the ice-making equipment.

The kitchen cabinets have self-closing drawer slides and Corian tops.

The open-air circulation system allows all units, even ones that face the outside, to connect to the interior courtyards.
